Former WWE star Zoey Serrano was released from WWE in April 2026, followed by a 90-day non-compete period. Months after her departure, Serrano made a shocking return on the August 27 episode of TNA Impact.

Before becoming Zoey Stark in WWE, Serrano was no stranger to TNA. Wrestling under the name Lacey Ryan, she made several appearances for the promotion throughout 2019 and 2020. According to TNA Wrestling, Serrano competed in three matches during that time, facing Kiera Hogan, Jordynne Grace, and Taya Valkyrie.

Her match against Grace gave Serrano an opportunity to challenge for the Knockouts World Championship and became an important moment in her career before WWE. Interestingly, Serrano’s path could have led her back to TNA much sooner. She recently revealed that she received contract offers from both TNA and WWE around the same period. Serrano ultimately chose WWE, signing with the company in 2021 and becoming known as Zoey Stark.

Now, years after her initial appearances, Serrano’s journey has come full circle. TNA has officially announced that Zoey Serrano has signed with the promotion, adding another experienced competitor to an already competitive Knockouts Division.
